Graduated in Law at Bari University “Aldo Moro,” he was enrolled in the special register of trainee prosecutors in 1989 and then qualified to plead before the higher Courts. He founded the Law Firm in 1992.

His legal practice essentially concerns criminal law, subject in which he earned a prominent position in his District from the early years of his career, handling nationally significant cases, especially in the Corte d’Assise. Indeed, since 1994, he has been taking on the legal counsel in major organized crime cases, providing legal assistance to defendants in mafia association cases, with a particular focus on the so-called “Quarta Mafia” (notable for multiple defense mandates in trials such as “Cartagine,” “Tundra,” “Iscaro Saburo,” “Decimazione,” “Neve di Marzo,” “Omnia Nostra,” “Cocktail,” “Game Over,” etc.). He has also represented individuals allegedly linked to other criminal organizations, such as the “Banda della Magliana,” the “Clan degli Scissionisti” of the Neapolitan Camorra, and some members of the historic Sicilian mafia “Cosa Nostra.”

However, his judicial defense and extrajudicial consultancy activities extend to all areas of criminal law, since he has had the opportunity to engage in several legal cases (including particularly significant ones) related to bankruptcy, tax, banking, corporate law, offenses against public administration, as well as areas involving environmental protection, workplace accidents, and negligent disasters. He pays particular attention to cases involving criminal liability in the field of medical and healthcare activities, where he has gained significant experience due to the numerous assignments received over the years.

Additionally, he provides legal assistance to legal entities, dealing with both Corps’ criminal liability (pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001) and playing an active role in personal and asset prevention measures and anti-mafia interdictions.

He has been Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at Foggia University under Professor Adelmo Manna’s tutoring for several years.

Furthermore, he has served multiple times as the President of subcommittees for the “Bar exam” at Bari Court of Appeal.

He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the legal journal “Unità e Pluralità del sapere giuridico.”
